Dr. Troy Tann attended the University of Michigan where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While attending The University of Michigan, he worked as a student athletic trainer for multiple NCAA Division I sports teams. Dr. Tann then went back to school at National College of Chiropractic and received his doctorate. Dr. Tann is a Certified Chiropractic Golf Specialist (1 of only 47 in the United States). Dr. Tann was also the head hockey coach for Waubonsie Valley High School junior varsity for three years. Dr. Tann was hired by the Joint Chiropractic in September 2015 to open and operate clinics in Chicagoland and New York. After opening and operating fourteen clinics, Dr. Tann realized that he missed the hands-on part of treating and helping patients. He hopes to help his patients and educate them on why certain injuries or conditions occur and give them insight into what can be done proactively to prevent pain and recurrence. Dr. Tann’s goal is to allow patients to get back to living their active lives, uninterrupted by pain or injury. Dr. Tann became a Certified Medical Examiner (CME) in 2023 and is a partner in Fox Valley Occupational Health, PLLC in Yorkville. Fox Valley Occupational Health does DOT physicals, drug and alcohol testing, and related occupational medicine services.
